Senior Production Supervisor – Fasteners (Shift In-Charge)

Job Overview:

Singhania International Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Production Supervisor – Fasteners (Shift In-Charge) to lead and manage shift-wise production operations. The ideal candidate must have strong technical exposure to the fastener manufacturing process, including cold forging, thread rolling, trimming, pointing, heat treatment, and in-process quality control. The role requires a capable leader who can enhance productivity, maintain machine health, control manpower, and consistently achieve PPC monthly schedules.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted production during the shift across all fastener operations.
• Increase overall production efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize changeover time.
• Develop new fastener items (bolts, screws, specials) including trials, tooling coordination, and process optimization.
• Continuously improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Manage, control, and allocate manpower effectively across machines and workstations.
• Achieve daily and monthly production schedules assigned by the PPC team.
• Monitor machine performance, maintain tool life, and ensure proper upkeep of dies, punches, rollers, cutters, and pointing tools.
• Reduce rejection percentage through corrective actions, root-cause analysis (5 Why, Ishikawa), and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate shift logs, production MIS, machine-wise output reports, and all mandatory documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate promptly with the maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive checks.
• Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, manpower, tools, and consumables.
• Implement 5S, safety standards, and ensure strict shop-floor discipline.
• Coordinate with QA, PPC, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores for seamless production flow.
• Support PPAP activities, customer audits, and internal process audits as required.
• Train, guide, and motivate machine operators for skill enhancement and quality compliance.

Required Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience in the fastener manufacturing industry (mandatory).
• Experience in handling production team.
• Must have worked as Shift In-Charge / Senior Supervisor for at least 5–7 years.
• Strong knowledge of fastener machines (headers, thread rolling, pointing, etc.).

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Trade.
• Good hands-on computer skills (Excel, ERP, production reporting software).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
