Job Description

• Plan for and oversee the manufacturing of a project until its dispatch within a set timeline. • Estimate and indent materials for projects. • Estimate job-wise manpower for projects. • Ensure optimal use of man, material, and machine. • Develop cutting plans for processing raw materials. • Generate daily work assignments with expected results that are defined and monitored. • Supervise individual operations on the shop floor, such as shearing, welding, forming, testing, and painting. • Control issued materials by marking individual parts, sub-assemblies, and the final product. • Visit customer installations to solve issues or install products when required. Must-Have Skills: • Knowledge of reading engineering drawings and ability to perform hand calculations (empirical) involving principles of Mechanical Engineering. • Knowledge of manufacturing technology involving fabrication and welding of thin stainless steel metal/pressure part manufacturing. • Manpower planning, handling and measuring outputs. • Material planning. • Effective managerial and supervisory skills. Nice-to-Have Skills: • Pressure vessel/part industry – Heat exchangers, Tanks, Conveyors, boiler industry experience • Specific NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) or welding certifications. • Certifications and ability to conduct safety workshops.
