Senior Production Artist

Job overview:

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed storyboards that clearly convey narrative, emotion, timing and camera language.
• Develop polished animatic with accurate timing, pacing and continuity for production.
• Design original characters, including model sheets, poses, expressions and turnarounds.
• Visualize scripts and concepts creatively while maintaining consistency with the project’s style and director’s vision.
• Collaborate closely with directors, writers and the production team to refine storytelling.
• Ensure all pre-production deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
• Participate in creative discussions, offer visual solutions and adapt to feedback quickly.
• Prepare production-ready files and maintain organized documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10 + years of experience in storyboarding, animatic and character design for animation.
• Strong drawing skills with excellent understanding of anatomy, proportion, perspectives and acting.
• Proficiency in storyboard and animatic tools such as Adobe Animate, Photoshop or equivalent.
• Solid grasp of cinematic storytelling, shot composition, timing and staging.
• Ability to design appealing and original characters in varied styles.
• Strong sense of storytelling, rhythm and visual clarity.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
