Senior Product Manager

Role Overview: At Google, as a Product Manager for AlloyDB in the Google Cloud Database area, you will play a crucial role in guiding products from conception to launch by bridging the gap between the technical and business aspects. Key Responsibilities: - Drive the product strategy and roadmap for the AlloyDB for PostgreSQL portfolio, focusing on Database and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. - Engage with customers and partners to identify their needs and develop platform features to support various use cases. - Collaborate with engineering, research, and key stakeholder teams to align the roadmap and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across Google Cloud. - Implement a data-driven framework in partnership with quantitative research to define key business metrics that enhance the developer experience. - Effectively communicate the product strategy to executive leaders, engineering teams, and cross-functional groups, influencing consensus and securing necessary resources for successful delivery. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. - 3 years of experience in taking technical products from ideation to launch, specifically within databases, analytics, big data, or related areas. - Experience developing or launching products in Cloud, Developer Tools, Database Management, and incorporating AI capabilities in data management solutions. - Proficiency in relational databases and cloud database services. - Demonstrated track record of creating product roadmaps, driving product vision, defining Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, and leading design discussions.
