Senior Product Development Manager

Role & responsibilities

• New product development- new fund ideation and research and development for launching new products including New Asset Class/Alternate Funds, International and Gift City funds and domestic mutual fund products.
• Work on asset allocation models to provide bundled solutions through fund of fund structure products.
• Analyze the existing products and its related features to enhance the appeal of the product.
• Provide product/marketing related literature and work with Investment Team to prepare Market Outlook Reports and communication of portfolio strategy.
• Peer Group Analysis with competitor funds.
• Prepare due diligence reports for global fund mandates and for various distribution tie ups.
• Provide constant flow of information to macro/micro/competition to better equip the sales team.

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters Degree / NISM Certified.
• Candidate should have 8 - 12 years of Work experience in a Financial Services and preferably in the Products / BD Or Sales roles in AMC / Bank and Wealth outfits.
• Candidate with expertise in asset allocation and modelling will be preferred. Also, candidates with experience in launching or distribution of international products will be preferred.
• Strong Financial Acumen & thorough understanding of Investments, the market & the regulations surrounding the Mutual Fund Industry / Wealth Management Industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to sustain effective relations at all levels (Internally & Externally).
