Position Summary

Senior Product Development Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead product design, prototyping, and development across hardware and software components.
• Analyze, identify, and resolve complex engineering and system-level challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, testing, and manufacturing to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Develop, configure, and test networking equipment such as routers and switches.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for product designs, architecture, and validation procedures.
• Implement best practices in software development, configuration management, and system integration.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives by introducing new technologies and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and organizational quality processes.
  

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of product design, development cycles, and system integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as

  C, C++, Python

  , or equivalent.
• Experience in

  database management

  and

  operating system builds

  (Linux/Unix preferred).
• Hands-on experience with

  networking equipment

  (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Familiarity with

  embedded systems

  ,

  hardwaresoftware co-design

  , or

  telecommunication systems

  .
• Understanding of

  network protocols

  and

  communication interfaces

  (TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.).
• Exposure to

  version control systems

  (e.g., Git) and

  development tools

  (e.g., Jenkins, Jira).
• Knowledge of

  satellite communication systems

  is an added advantage.
