Job Overview : As a Product Designer (UI/UX), you will lead a team of designers and play a pivotal role in shaping the design strategy and direction of our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and user-centric design approach. Responsibilities : Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture. Develop and communicate a clear design vision and strategy for the product, aligning it with the companys business goals. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design aligns with the overall product roadmap. Drive a user-centered design approach across the team, emphasizing empathy for users and their needs. Ensure design consistency, quality, and adherence to design systems and guidelines across products. Oversee design projects, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Encourage and facilitate user research and usability testing to validate design decisions. Ensure comprehensive design documentation, including wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications. Keep the team informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to drive innovation. Qualifications: 1. bachelors or masters degree in any domain 2. At least 4+ years of professional experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing leadership and design work. 3. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Sketch, Figma). 4. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. 5. Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. 6. Experience with user research techniques and usability testing. 7. Strong project management and organizational skills. 8. Adaptability to work in an agile development environment. 9. Proven ability to drive the adoption of design systems and best practices within the team. Additional Skills - Motion design and animation skills. - Expertise in designing for specific platforms (e.g., mobile, web, desktop). - Accessibility and inclusive design expertise. - 3D design or product modeling skills for hardware design.
