Job Description

As a Senior QA, you will help build a meaningful engineering discipline in Testing, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems. Much of our support and software development focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and reducing work through automation. You will join a team of curious problem solvers with a diverse set of perspectives who think big and take risks. You will be focused on running better production applications and systems. Responsibilities: Review technical requirements, author detailed test plan, and test case documentation Develop and maintain test infrastructure for efficient testing Working with JIRA board to track the issues. Identify, isolate and replicate software defects, research root causes, debug issues, and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional, design specifications, and requirement Escalate any QA issues to cross-functional teams and push for a suitable resolution in a timely manner Constantly seek opportunities to improve our quality and testing approach Promoting QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices Collaborate with Project Managers, Developers, Content Managers and Release Engineers to deliver projects on-time, ensuring the highest product quality standards Requirements: At least 3+ years of experience with QA Automation/Manual Testing with both Web and Mobile Applications Experience in performing regression testing and UAT for products. Solid understanding of development SDLC and STLC lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes Hands-on experience with test planning, test designing and execution, implementing and maintaining quality test cases. Ability to articulate vision and manage deliverables. Identify defects and work with developers to resolve them Experience in any Bug Tracking System Writing SQL Queries to validate front-end application. Experience on API testing tools like Postman to test RESTful services Excellent oral and written communication skills including effective presentation with a dynamic attitude Should have good understanding on DB like NoSQL Database (MongoDB) Understanding and experience of Agile and Lean philosophies including experience with JIRA, and / or similar Strong analytical skills to be able to translate from system requirements and user stories to detailed test cases Good to have Exposure in writing automation test cases with Selenium and Java Programming Nice-To-Have Experience on CI/CD pipeline creations and maintain Qualifications Bachelors degree in any stream *This is a work from office position located in Hyderabad area.
