Senior Product Design Engineer

As a Senior Product Design Engineer at our Noida location, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of plastic components and assemblies for automotive applications. Your expertise in Catia V5 will be crucial as you create 3D models, 2D drawings, and detailed assembly drawings. Your proactive problem-solving skills will be essential as you manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your key responsibilities will include designing plastic components in 3D, developing 2D drawings, and creating detailed assembly drawings with proper annotations and manufacturing considerations. You will also be tasked with conducting A-Class surface analysis, performing tooling feasibility assessments, and selecting appropriate engineering-grade plastic materials for automotive applications. Additionally, you will apply GD&T principles to ensure alignment with customer requirements and engineering standards. To be successful in this role, you should have a B.Tech degree with 6 years of post-qualification experience in the automotive industry or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Catia V5, strong knowledge of Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and experience in DFMEA and GD&T practices are required. Familiarity with PLM systems, the ability to interpret FEA and Mold Flow reports, and experience with product testing and validation processes will also be beneficial.,
