Senior Process Engineer

As a Manufacturing Sr. Engineer at Dashmesh Mechanical Works (LANDFORCE) in Amargarh, Punjab, India, you will be instrumental in enhancing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your role within the Manufacturing/Engineering department involves reporting directly to the Operations head/Plant head. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and refine manufacturing processes and workflows for enhanced efficiency. - Analyze current procedures for optimization and implement lean manufacturing techniques. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable production processes. - Lead projects for process improvements, equipment installations, and facility upgrades. - Develop quality control procedures, conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, and provide technical support. - Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, procedures, and equipment. - Prepare reports on manufacturing performance, project status, and improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field. - Proficiency in CAD software and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills. - Advanced degrees or certifications like Six Sigma or PMP are a plus. This full-time role will involve working in office and manufacturing floor environments. Occasional travel to other company locations or vendors may be required.
