Position: Senior Process Engineer Department: Project Team / Engineering Reports To: Project Manager / Engineering Manager Employment Type: Part-Time / Phase -Based (Engineering & Commissioning Focus) . 1. Role Purpose To lead and manage all process engineering activities for the Instrument Air & Plant Air System Upgrade Project at USSC, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards , FEED intent, and EPC SOW The Senior Process Engineer will work closely with the Eng ineering Subcontractor and internal disciplines to ensure design quality, technical integrity, and safe operability of the integrated IA/PA network across multiple platforms. 2. Key Responsibilities (Project -Specific) A. Process Design & Engineering • Revi ew and validate FEED deliverables and design basis. • Lead development and approval of PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, cause & effect, line lists . • Define IA/PA demand, capacity, pressure requirements per platform. • Ensure compressor selection meets SOW and ADNOC Offshore specifications. • Confirm set points for PCVs, self -regulating valves, duty/standby logic . B. Engineering Subcontractor Coordination • Act as primary process focal point between EEIC and engineering subcontractor. • Review and approve all process deliverables submitted by subcontractor. • Monitor progress of process deliverables. • Ensure all drawings/documents meet ADNOC Offshore standards. C. Integration & Interface Management • Ensure process integration across all platforms: CSP -1, NGTP, TAE, HAP, PG P. • Align with DCS/ESD/ECMS/PMS control philosophy . • Work with instrumentation and control engineers to define interlocks and logic. • Coordinate with other EPC projects (e.g. LTDP -1, Load Migration). D. Tie -in & Shutdown Planning • Identify all process tie -in points for IA/PA headers. • Define method of tie -in with minimum shutdown requirement . • Support Operations and Construction teams in planning hot/cold tie -ins. • Ensure no production impact as per SOW requirement. E. Vendor / OEM Technical Follow -Up • Review compressor/dryer datasheets, performance curves, instrument data. • Participate in vendor technical meetings, FATs, SATs . • Ensure design consistency across CSP -1, NGTP, and TA/TAE compressor packages. • Evaluate existing vs new equipment performance (reuse vs r eplace decisions). F. Process Safety & ADNOC Compliance • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, PHSER, SIMOPS workshops . • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore process safety standards. • Conduct relief, flare, pressure drop, and hydraulic calculations. • Manage process safety deliverables (safeguarding, cause & effect, PSV sizing). G. Documentation & Review • Prepare and review process narratives, line lists, valve data sheets, PFDs/P&IDs. • Ensure deliverables of SOW are submitted on time. • Valid ate deliverables from FEED and update as per Addendum. • Provide input to control narratives, operating manuals, commissioning procedures. H. Support to Construction / Commissioning (as needed) • Support construction team in resolving process -related site issu es. • Provide technical guidance during pre -commissioning and commissioning. • Verify process performance during start -up and system integration testing. 3. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical / Process / Mechanical Engineering. • ADNOC Offshore approved or eligible. • Knowledge of ADNOC standards and PMS/ECMS workflow. 4. Experience • 8–12 years process engineering experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects . • At least 5 years in ADNOC Offshore projects . • Experience with utility systems (Instrument Air / Plant Air / Compressor systems) . • Strong background in P&IDs, cause & effect, valve sizing, control logic . • Experience in integrated platform networks and tie -in philosophy . • Familiarity with HAZOP, HAZID, PHSER, SIL studies . 5. Skills & Competencies • Strong PFD/P&ID development and review skills • Good understanding of control and safeguarding philosophie • Ability to coordinate with multi -discipline teams • Familiar with vendor package engineering • Strong interface and communication skills • Good knowledge of ADNOC Offshore standards • Ability to work with FEED data and EPC modification • Hands -on and solution -oriented 6.
