Description
Our client, a fast-growing Australian enterprise undergoing digital transformation, is seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior PowerApps / Power Automate Developer to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade business applications and workflow automation using Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, deep experience with PowerApps and Power Automate, and the ability to integrate with third-party platforms like Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Encodian. You will play a key role in shaping solution architecture, mentoring junior developers, and delivering scalable digital tools. Key Responsibilities: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable and secure PowerApps applications tailored to business requirements. - Design and implement advanced Power Automate workflows to automate business operations and improve process efficiency. - Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and maintainability. - Lead technical discussions and collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements. - Provide technical mentorship to junior developers within the team. - Ensure best practices in solution design, security, and governance across Power Platform implementations. - Document system architecture, workflows, and reusable components. Required Skills & Experience: - Total Experience: 7+ years in IT/Software Development - Relevant Experience: Minimum 4 years in developing solutions using PowerApps and Power Automate - Proven expertise in building canvas and model-driven apps, responsive UI design, and workflow automation - Hands-on experience integrating Microsoft Power Platform with: - Smartsheet - Salesforce - Encodian or similar platforms - Strong knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Azure Logic Apps, and Power Fx - Familiarity with JSON, JavaScript, and REST APIs for creating advanced logic and integrations - Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments - Exposure to Power BI, Teams integration, and Azure AD is a plus Preferred Qualifications: - Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or equivalent - Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills - Experience working with clients in the Australian or global market - Ability to work independently in a remote and distributed environment Engagement Terms: Type: Full-Time (Permanent) or Freelance (Remote Contract) Work Model: Remote with partial overlap in Australian time zone Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and contract type Why Work With itForte: - Join a trusted IT recruitment firm with 20+ years of global expertise - Work on high-impact client projects across emerging technologies - Flexible roles with long-term potential and client visibility
