Senior Platform Engineer

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Fingermark, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining hybrid infrastructure across cloud (AWS) and on-premise environments to support Eyecue, Fingermark's computer vision intelligence platform. Your responsibilities will include enabling seamless deployment across cloud, edge, and extreme edge devices, operationalizing computer vision and machine learning at scale. You will be part of a team partnering with some of the world's biggest QSR brands to deliver innovative solutions that transform their business operations. While this role can be remote and based anywhere in New Zealand, you are expected to have a strong background in infrastructure, including experience with Linux and Windows systems, Git and version control, Infrastructure-as-Code (especially Terraform), AWS, networking protocols, Docker, orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Swarm, automation tools such as Ansible or Chef, and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, JavaScript).
