Responsible for designing, implementing, and executing formal performance testing strategies to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-native applications. Leverages experience in AWS cloud services to simulate real-world load scenarios and optimize system performance in distributed environments.

• Designing and executing performance test plans aligned with cloud-native architecture best practices.
• Developing custom scripts and tools using Groovy/Java, with preference for experience in AWS.
• Conducting performance testing on AWS-hosted applications using tools like JMeter, K6, integrating with AWS services (e. g. , EC2, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Analyzing performance metrics using AWS tools (e. g. , CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail) to identify system bottlenecks, latency issues, or scaling constraints.
• Collaborating with development and DevOps teams to implement fixes, optimize infrastructure, and validate improvements.
• Participating in test planning, writing detailed test scripts, executing performance tests, and analyzing and presenting results.
• Supporting continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data for software process optimization, and integrating findings into agile workflows.
• Maintaining documentation of issues, findings, and resolutions, while contributing to root cause analysis.
• Acting as a quality advocate by contributing to process documentation, standards, and performance benchmarks across engineering teams.
• Delivering internal training and workshops on performance best practices and AWS-based quality engineering approaches.
• Experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic, Datadog or SigNoz.
