Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management

  • Design, structure, and modify

    CTC components

    as per company policy.
  • Execute

    monthly payroll processing

    with 100% accuracy and within timelines.
  • Manage

    full & final settlements (F&F)

    , including recovery, leave encashment, gratuity, bonus, and other components.
  • Validate monthly inputs: incentives, arrears, deductions, overtime, shift allowances, etc.

2. Attendance & Leave Management

  • Daily tracking and verification of

    attendance records

    from biometric/attendance systems.
  • Maintain and update

    master leave tracker

    for all locations.
  • Coordinate with plant HR/functional heads for attendance discrepancies and leave data validation.

3. Statutory Compliance

  • Handle end-to-end statutory filing related to

    PF, ESIC, and Gratuity

    .
  • Prepare and generate

    PF & ESIC challans

    , ensure accurate monthly contributions, and

    submit online

    in the respective portals.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations, maintaining audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist in responding to statutory audits and inspections.

4. HR Master Data & Documentation

  • Maintain and regularly update the

    employee master roll

    , including new joiners, exits, transfers, and status changes.
  • Activate/deactivate employees on HRMS/ERP platforms.
  • Monthly update of

    department-wise Organogram

    in coordination with HR leadership.
  • Ensure robust

    record-keeping

    for payroll, attendance, leave, and statutory documents.

5. HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and share periodic HR reports:
    • Attendance MIS
    • Payroll dashboards
    • Headcount & attrition
    • OT/leave analysis
    • Statutory compliance reports
  • Utilize

    Advanced Excel

    to create dynamic reports, pivot tables, dashboards, and data analysis.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    CTC structuring and payroll components

    .
  • Expertise in

    PF, ESIC, Gratuity

    compliance and portal operations.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll systems/HRMS.
  • Excellent command of

    Advanced Excel

    (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, MIS dashboards).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and labour compliance norms.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data.

    Graduate/Post-Graduate in HR, Commerce, or related field.
  • Experience:

    57 years of experience in payroll and statutory compliance, preferably in manufacturing or multi-location operations.
