Database Administrator We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the1 efficient, secure, and reliable operation of our database systems, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability and robust security. Monitor database performance, conduct troubleshooting, and implement tuning for optimal speed and efficiency across DEV, ST, and SIT environments. Develop and manage comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data. Perform database upgrades (e.g., 12c to 19c), capacity planning, and recurring capacity analysis. Manage CCS Uplifts, Purging Activities, and other ad-hoc database tasks. Ensure compliance with ITIL, SOX, and security regulations, maintaining thorough documentation. Qualifications: Required: 5-8 years of professional experience in database administration, preferably within agile frameworks. Strong expertise in performance tuning, SQL tuning, and optimization. Proficiency in ITIL, SOX, and security regulations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage highly business-critical environments. Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field. Knowledge of Shell scripting and automation. DBA certifications.
