Senior Network Security Engineer

As a Cloud Network and Security Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing cloud network and security infrastructure utilizing tools like Terraform and other automation tools. Your key responsibilities will include shaping operational capabilities, defining cloud network and security strategy, and ensuring that implementation and operations align with high reliability and availability standards. You will collaborate closely with peers and colleagues from various teams such as Cloud Platform Engineering, Secure Infrastructure Platforms, Information Security, and IT Service teams to maintain alignment with standards and ensure optimal performance. To excel in this role, you should be skilled in communicating effectively with business partners and colleagues from diverse backgrounds, driving operational security initiatives through consensus, and have the ability to work efficiently in an Agile environment. Your expertise in security governance, compliance frameworks, and mapping traffic flows across network infrastructure will be crucial. Additionally, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of subject matter expertise in AWS and Azure WAFs, NGFWs, multi-cloud networking, and cloud security architecture. Successful deployment of security policies with WAF and NGFWs in both AWS and Azure, as well as experience in deploying large-scale AWS and Azure environments using DevOps tools, are essential qualifications for this role. Your proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud networking, load balancers, containers/Kubernetes, and troubleshooting skills will be valuable assets. Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure ARM is required. Knowledge of GCP and Alibaba cloud is a plus, along with expertise in firewall security policy tuning tools like Algosec and familiarity with Linux and Windows systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary, and knowledge of additional languages is considered advantageous.
