Senior Merchandiser

Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end merchandising processes including product development, sampling, order follow-ups, and production tracking.
  
• Coordinate with buyers and internal teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of orders.
  
• Ensure effective communication with vendors/suppliers regarding costing, T&A, quality, and shipment.
  
• Monitor quality control standards and ensure adherence to buyer requirements.
  
• Handle development of new samples and collections in line with market trends.
  
• Maintain detailed documentation of all merchandising activities and regularly update reports.
  
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure product feasibility and on-time execution.
  

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of woven and knit fabrics and trims
  
• Proven experience in a buying house/export house environment
  
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
  
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and T&A tracking
  
• Ability to handle multiple accounts and clients simultaneously
  
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  
• Strong sense of fashion trends and buyer expectations
