Senior Merchandiser

As a Senior Merchandiser at Pace Active, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination between design, production, and sales teams to deliver high-quality activewear products to our customers. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to the success of our brand. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Material Sourcing & Sample Coordination:** - Collaborate with the design team to manage sample development and procure fabrics and trims for production orders. - **In-House Manufacturing Oversight:** - Communicate with the production team to oversee sample production, address technical issues, and maintain quality standards. - **Product Costing and Efficiency Management:** - Determine product costs, optimize selling prices, and monitor fabric usage and production processes for efficiency. - **Quality Assurance:** - Conduct quality checks during production stages, identify defects, and implement corrective actions with production and quality teams. - **Production Reporting:** - Maintain production tracking documents, provide updates on production status, and address potential delays. - **Cross-functional Coordination:** - Coordinate with various teams to align on delivery timelines, material availability, and order fulfillment. - **Production Planning & Follow-up:** - Manage the production schedule from development to bulk manufacturing, ensuring timely completion for seasonal collections. - **Technical Documentation:** - Ensure completeness and accuracy of tech packs, BOMs, and production specifications for effective communication with the production team. **Key Skills & Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or related field. - 4+ years of experience in apparel production merchandising, preferably in activewear or sportswear segments. - Strong knowledge of garment construction, materials, and production processes, especially in activewear. - Hands-on experience in in-house manufacturing environments. - Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and production tracking systems. - Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams. - High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. - Knowledge of innovative practices and raw material vendors in activewear production is advantageous.,
