Description
As a Senior Media Sales Manager at Cricbuzz, India's leading cricket media platform, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue through the sale of digital ad inventory and media partnerships across various Cricbuzz platforms. With your 7-10 years of experience in media sales, digital ad sales, or sports/radio media sales, you will lead and grow our advertising and media sales business by building and nurturing long-term client relationships with agencies, brands, and advertisers. Your responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within the sports, media, and related sectors, developing compelling media proposals and customized sponsorship packages, leading negotiations, closing deals, and managing end-to-end sales cycles. Additionally, you will work closely with content, marketing, and product teams to develop monetizable offerings, track market trends, analyze performance, and provide insights for continuous growth. Representing Cricbuzz at industry events and forums will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position is a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, excellent client relationships, and a deep understanding of the media landscape. You should have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, strong relationships with advertising agencies, brand marketers, and media buyers, and a deep understanding of digital media metrics, ad tech, and branded content. A passion for sports, especially cricket, is considered a strong plus. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with a self-starter mindset, collaborative approach, and high accountability.
