                                Role Overview: As the Mechanical (HVAC) Senior Engineer, your role is crucial in delivering advanced work environments for clients. With 8+ years of experience, you will lead and coordinate internal project teams in MEP Engineering services through all project stages. Your responsibilities include supporting consultancy and design & build teams in developing strong design intent, managing engineering project designs, ensuring compliance with local building codes, and integrating energy-efficient HVAC solutions. Additionally, you will oversee mechanical system installations, mitigate risks, engage with stakeholders, provide financial evaluations, stay updated on emerging technologies, and mentor junior engineers.  Key Responsibilities: - Concept & Detailed Design Development:   - Conduct detailed calculations and develop schematic strategy drawings for different design stages.   - Supervise equipment and infrastructure sizing and detailed mechanical services layouts.  - Cross-Regional Project Coordination:   - Define project scope and support BIM coordination with engineering project teams in North America, Europe, and Singapore.  - Regulatory & Code Compliance:   - Research and ensure compliance with local building codes, certification requirements, and client-specific MEP standards.  - Sustainability & Energy Efficiency:   - Integrate energy-efficient HVAC solutions, perform thermal and energy modeling, and support sustainability goals.  - Site Supervision & Construction Support:   - Oversee mechanical system installations, inspect MEP disciplines, troubleshoot site issues, and ensure project execution.  - Risk & Quality Management:   - Identify and mitigate potential risks in mechanical system designs, uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.  - Client & Stakeholder Engagement:   - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants, effectively communicate technical concepts, and ensure project requirements are met.  - Financial:   - Assist in technical and commercial evaluations, provide value-engineering solutions for cost efficiency.  - Innovation & Emerging Technologies:   - Stay updated with advancements in mechanical building services, incorporate smart building technologies, and digital twin methodologies.  - Mentorship & Leadership:   - Support the professional development of junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.  Qualifications & Key Competencies: - Technical Expertise:   - Minimum 8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering services.   - Strong understanding of MEP system design, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and sustainable building technologies.   - Familiarity with BIM, Revit MEP coordination, and energy modeling tools.   - Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, LEED, WELL, and sustainability frameworks.  - Project & Team Leadership:   - Experience in leading multidisciplinary MEP teams, mentoring junior engineers, and strong project management skills.  - Software & Digital Tools Proficiency:   - Proficient in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit MEP, HVAC and energy modeling tools, and MS Office Suite.  - Education:   - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.   - Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
