Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Food Processing & Packaging

Location: Madhyamgram, sodhpur

Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery used in our food processing and packaging units. This role is critical in ensuring smooth production operations with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing and packaging machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement timely solutions to minimize production delays.
• Maintain and optimize equipment involved in food processing operations such as mixers, fillers, labeling machines, sealing machines, etc.
• Ensure all machines operate efficiently and comply with safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure product consistency and equipment reliability.
• Provide technical support during installation or modification of new machinery.
• Monitor and manage inventory of mechanical parts and request procurement as needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance role, preferably in an FMCG or food processing industry.
• Hands-on knowledge of various mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with packaging and food processing equipment.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to work in Madhyamgram, Sodhpur.
