Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Hyderabad Company: Healomex Bioscience Pvt. Ltd. Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with over 5 years of experience in mechanical product design, especially in plastic part development and injection molding. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and manufacturable mechanical designs for medical devices, supporting the product development lifecycle from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: ● Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices using AutoCAD and 3D modeling tools. ● Create and manage detailed 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and STEP files for prototyping and production. ● Design plastic parts optimized for injection molding, considering DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and material selection. ● Develop and review mold (mould) designs, collaborating with tooling vendors and manufacturers. ● Participate in product design reviews, tolerance analysis, and BOM creation. ● Support cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, and QA during the product development process. ● Coordinate with suppliers for design feasibility, prototyping, and production tooling. ● Prepare technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Requirements: ● Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. ● Experience: Minimum 5 years in mechanical design with a focus on plastic components and injection molding. ● Skills: ○ Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar). ○ Strong understanding of injection molding processes, mold design principles, and plastic material properties. ○ Hands-on experience in 2D/3D modeling, STEP file generation, and technical drawing standards. ○ Knowledge of GD&T, tolerancing, and DFM/DFT practices. ○ Experience in collaborating with tooling vendors and handling design iterations. ○ Familiarity with mechanical design considerations for medical devices is an advantage. Preferred: ● Prior experience in medical device product development or regulated industries (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA). ● Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) tools. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for design precision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
