Designation:

Senior Manager/Manager Legal

Qualification:

LLB qualification with 8-12 years of work experience in legal matters in Medium/Large International Organization/ Law Firm, preferably from Real Estate, Service Industry, Legal Firms or an MNC.

CS qualification would be an added advantage.

Competency:

Good drafting skills and knowledge of Central and State legislation are
essential.

Exposure to joint venture formalities is preferable.

He/She should have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines. In
addition to being a team player, the candidate should possess strong analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Office, good presentation and written and oral communication skills is essential.

Location:

Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties:

Exposure to property acquisitions, FDI regulations and development rules.
Experience of drafting agreements related to purchase and sale of immovable properties, drafting of transaction documents like Term Sheet, Shareholders Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreements etc.,

Drafting of Lease Deed, Other Contracts like Construction Contracts, Service Agreements, Loan
Agreements, CCD/NCD Agreements etc. Hands on knowledge of handling litigations in co-ordination with external counsel and advise management on legal issues. Organize, monitor and attend all Court Matters and Arbitration Proceedings to which Company is a party. Working knowledge of FDI, Commercial or Corporate Law, Companies Act, Tax laws, SEZ, FVCI, SEBI regulations.


Drafting contracts & agreements and processing the registration of all documents & contracts. Ensure compliance of Stamp Duty Regulations and Registration formalities with respect to agreements and lease deeds.

Reduce turnaround time for preparation and vetting of Legal Documents and Maintain Management Information System (MIS) for the Legal Dept.

Compliance of Central & State Legislations and Local Bye Laws applicable to the Company and Liaison with government agencies and departments for operational matters.
Implement quality procedures and systems, identify areas of improvement, and suggest improvement in existing processes.

Review and identify gap in compliances if any and take appropriate steps to ensure
compliances.


Advice Management on various legal matters and issues concerning the staff, labor, tax, property, contracts and all other aspects concerning the business of the Company and/or in matters related to its Directors and Officers.

Update the Management about any change in legal provisions which are related to the business of the Company.


Keep up to date filing and records of all legal matters and correspondence
