Role Overview:

The Zonal Sales Manager (B2C) is responsible for driving the company's government sales efforts, securing tenders and contracts, and fostering relationships with government agencies. This role involves managing the entire tendering process, developing strategies, leading the sales team, and ensuring compliance with public sector regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender & Contract Management:

  • Lead efforts to secure tenders and contracts with government bodies, ensuring competitive and timely submission.
  • Monitor and manage the complete tendering process, from opportunity identification to contract finalization.
  • Government Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and agencies to promote the company's products and services.
  • Attend meetings with government representatives to understand their needs and position the company as a trusted partner.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all government sales efforts comply with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
  • Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a tailored sales strategy for the government sector, targeting key government projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and contracts.
  • Event Participation:

  • Coordinate and participate in roadshows, demos, and exhibitions to engage government officials and stakeholders, promoting the company's products and services.
  • Leverage these events to generate leads and increase visibility in the public sector.
  • Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the government sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and achieving sales targets.
