Academy Manager Marketing
Reporting Structure:

Job Purpose:
Design and implement capability-building initiatives for marketing teams, aligned with both short-term and long-term organizational goals. The role focuses on building a competency-based learning and development (L&D) framework for marketing employees, including brand managers, senior brand managers, group brand managers, and marketing heads across all clusters in India Business.
Key Accountabilities:
Needs Assessment & L&D Planning:
- Support in identifying training needs (TNI) and designing L&D plans.
- Implement learning curriculums and roadmaps for various marketing roles.
- Align learning initiatives with Marketing Excellence (MEX) and HR teams.
Program Implementation:
- Launch and execute technical, functional, and behavioral learning programs.
- Coordinate with facilitators, manage communications, and ensure process adherence.
- Co-facilitate interventions and partner with HR, MEX, and business teams.
Customization & Internal Capability Building:
- Identify and address customized learning needs.
- Build internal training capabilities (MiGurus) and support new launches.
Talent Management:
- Partner with HR on talent management projects (e.g., iGrow, 360 feedback, promotions).
- Maintain relationships with external L&D partners and consultants.
Major Challenges:
- Aligning stakeholders on learning objectives and program design.
- Ensuring consistent and quality implementation of interventions.
- Measuring and communicating the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Key Interactions:
Internal:
Marketing heads, business unit heads, MEX, HR, COEs, and marketing teams.External:
L&D partners, consultants, and external forums as needed.
Scope & Dimensions:
- Responsible for L&D initiatives for 200+ employees.
- Covers onboarding, continuous capability building, and leadership pipeline development.
Key Decisions & Recommendations:
- Execution of learning intervention plans.
- Recommendations on program design, delivery, vendor partnerships, and governance mechanisms.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
Education:
MBA or relevant masters degree (e.g., Organizational Psychology, Adult Education).Experience: 4-9 years in L&D or marketing
, preferably in matrix organizations.Other:
High English proficiency, knowledge of L&D frameworks (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick, etc.).
