Senior Manager - Sustainability

Position : Manager / Senior Manager - Sustainability

Location: Govandi (East) , Mumbai

Reporting To: Corporate EHS Head (Vice President)

Work Schedule : Mon-Fri and alternate Saturdays are working

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sustainability strategy aligned with corporate EHS and ESG goals across manufacturing and business functions.

- Manage sustainability reporting in accordance with GRI guidelines for pharma/chemical process organizations.

- Lead ESG initiatives including Supply Chain Responsibility, Human Rights, Anti-Bribery, Diversity & Inclusion.

- Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and facilitate Carbon Disclosure Projects (Scope 1 & 2) for emissions reduction and reporting.

- Drive water conservation projects and implement rainwater harvesting solutions.

- Conduct water and energy maturity audits, and recommend process improvements for resource optimization.

- Identify and implement opportunities for zero landfilling of hazardous wastes in line with statutory and company goals.

- Champion and lead compliance with the EcoVadis sustainability framework, including assessments and ongoing performance improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, HR), and prepare dashboards/presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Desired Skill Sets & Experience

Pharma/Chemical process industries.

- Mastery of GRI-based sustainability reporting and ESG frameworks.

- Strong background in LCA, carbon accounting (Scope 1 & 2), and resource management audits.

- Experience managing EcoVadis compliance journey for large corporates.

- Demonstrated project leadership in water conservation, hazardous waste management, and zero landfill strategies.

- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
