Job Description

As a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will have a proven track record in sales, specifically in securing sponsorship deals for events and media. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, prospect, and close sponsorship opportunities that align with our events and bring value to our sponsors. In this role, you will prospect and research potential sponsors such as corporations, brands, and organizations that align with the target audience and objectives of our events. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective sponsor companies. Creating compelling sponsorship packages and proposals tailored to the needs and objectives of potential sponsors will be crucial. You will present sponsorship opportunities to prospects through various channels like meetings, presentations, and other communications. Negotiating sponsorship agreements and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial terms aligned with the interests of both parties will be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with internal teams for seamless execution and fulfillment of sponsorship agreements, including delivering promised benefits and activations, is essential. Tracking and reporting on sales metrics, including pipeline status, revenue projections, and conversion rates, will be required. Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging sponsorship opportunities is vital to maintain a competitive edge in the market. Additionally, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand our network and identify new business opportunities is expected. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sponsorship sales in the events or entertainment industry is required. Strong negotiation skills, effective deal-closing abilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Being highly organized with strong attention to detail, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and willingness to travel as needed are also key qualifications for this position.,
