As a member of the Salesforce team, you will play a crucial role in enabling a full suite of Salesforce applications on Google Cloud through a groundbreaking partnership with Google worth $2.5 billion. By integrating Google's Gemini AI models into Salesforce's Agentforce platform, you will help businesses harness multi-modal AI capabilities to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your contributions will advance the integration of Salesforce applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), allowing you to work at the forefront of IDP, AI, and cloud computing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the vision of enabling a full suite of Salesforce applications on Google Cloud in collaboration with teams across geographies - Manage, hire, and nurture a world-class team of 5-10 individuals to deliver cloud frameworks, infrastructure automation tools, workflows, and validation platforms on public cloud platforms - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and engineers to drive execution and delivery - Work closely with product owners and architects to build best-in-class services and systems at scale - Provide technical guidance, career development, and mentoring to team members - Lead with influence, encourage ideas, and make critical decisions to innovate aggressively while managing risk - Maintain and foster the company culture by interviewing and hiring qualified individuals with diversity in mind - Conduct daily stand-ups as the ScrumMaster for 1 or 2 engineering teams - Occasionally contribute to development tasks such as coding and feature verifications to assist teams with release commitments and keep technical acumen sharp - Determine the root cause of all production-level incidents and write corresponding high-quality RCA reports **Qualifications Required:** - Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience - Experience leading software development projects with a distinguished track record on technically demanding products released for wider consumption - Service ownership experience of cloud-based distributed services running at B2C scale - Experience in hiring, mentoring, and leading engineers - Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including presenting to executive leadership and handling sensitive, critical issues - Experience working in a scrum/agile development environment with an agile mindset and ability to iterate, take risks, and evolve - Strong adherence to software engineering best practices enabling the building of world-class products - Strong data structure and algorithms skills with extensive programming experience, preferably in object-oriented languages - Define service level objectives (SLOs) and service level indicators (SLIs) to represent and measure service quality - Experience in Java, Python, or Go languages, AIOps, or AI SRE related tooling for incident automation resolution, and running monitoring systems like Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana, Zipkin, OTEL, or similar systems - Identify areas to improve service resiliency through techniques such as chaos engineering, performance/load testing, etc - Working knowledge of Kubernetes, service mesh, and other modern technologies/services on public cloud is desirable As a member of the Salesforce team, you will play a crucial role in enabling a full suite of Salesforce applications on Google Cloud through a groundbreaking partnership with Google worth $2.5 billion.
