As the Senior Manager Raw Material Sourcing (Biomass), you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing biomass raw material sourcing across multiple manufacturing plants to ensure a sustainable supply aligned with production targets. Your role involves assigning annual procurement targets, supervising team performance, and aligning raw material procurement plans with production targets. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement outreach programs for sustainable biomass procurement from villages, aggregators, and traders. - Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders in sourcing regions. - Allocate annual biomass procurement targets to plant-level teams based on production requirements. - Supervise and guide plant-based sourcing teams to meet targets and quality standards. - Monitor market trends, supply availability, and pricing of biomass raw materials. - Ensure compliance with company policies, legal norms, and sustainability guidelines. - Coordinate with production and quality control teams for consistent supply and material quality. - Prepare regular procurement performance reports for management review. - Identify new sourcing regions and develop supplier networks to support plant expansion plans. Qualifications & Experience: - Graduation in Agriculture, Forestry, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Masters preferred). - Minimum 10 years experience in agricultural commodity procurement, rural outreach, or supply chain management. - Strong networking and negotiation skills with rural suppliers and traders. - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and data analysis tools. - Willingness to travel extensively across sourcing regions and plant locations.
