• Identify and monitor key performance parameters within the QMS (Quality Management System) function consistently.
• Focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and other relevant standards (e.g., BIS).
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances such as PPCB, IMS, and SMETA implementation in Chemical & Paint Storage areas.
• Oversee proper handling and storage of chemicals, acids, and used drums in hazardous rooms, including their disposal as per PPCB rules.
• Propose and implement improvements to the system in alignment with QMS specifications.
• Evaluate system performance against ERP data and recommend the best alternatives for enhancement.
• Prepare and maintain the Quality Manual, ensuring compliance and driving quality improvements across the organization.
• Regularly review and update the Quality Manual, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Establish Quality Assurance practices at all levels with active operator involvement.
• Review and recommend cost-effective quality tools and methods.
• Identify, adopt, and implement best practices for quality improvement.
• Reduce the Cost of Poor Quality and deliver value-added products to customers and the company.
• Ensure timely delivery of warranties and turnaround times (TAT) related to customer complaints.
• Drive reduction in market quality complaints, including part shortages, DAR issues, and process-related defects.
• Conduct dealer training and facilitate continuous improvement programs.
• Maintain knowledge and control over key areas such as Paint Shop, Phosphating, and Weld Shop operations.
