Roles and Responsibilities Identify and monitor key performance parameters within the QMS (Quality Management System) function consistently. Focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and other relevant standards (e.g., BIS). Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances such as PPCB, IMS, and SMETA implementation in Chemical & Paint Storage areas. Oversee proper handling and storage of chemicals, acids, and used drums in hazardous rooms, including their disposal as per PPCB rules. Propose and implement improvements to the system in alignment with QMS specifications. Evaluate system performance against ERP data and recommend the best alternatives for enhancement. Prepare and maintain the Quality Manual, ensuring compliance and driving quality improvements across the organization. Regularly review and update the Quality Manual, policies, procedures, and work instructions. Establish Quality Assurance practices at all levels with active operator involvement. Review and recommend cost-effective quality tools and methods. Identify, adopt, and implement best practices for quality improvement. Reduce the Cost of Poor Quality and deliver value-added products to customers and the company. Ensure timely delivery of warranties and turnaround times (TAT) related to customer complaints. Drive reduction in market quality complaints, including part shortages, DAR issues, and process-related defects. Conduct dealer training and facilitate continuous improvement programs.
