Senior Manager - Operations

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, your primary role will involve overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse to ensure efficient handling of goods. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing warehouse operations, such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods with a focus on timely and accurate order fulfillment. - Monitoring warehouse team performance to ensure productivity and compliance with operational standards. - Implementing and enforcing warehouse safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. - Leading, training, and developing a team of warehouse staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Providing regular feedback and performance evaluations to staff and supervisors. - Managing workforce schedules and optimizing staffing levels based on demand fluctuations. - Ensuring accurate stock levels and inventory management to reduce discrepancies and optimize space utilization. - Conducting regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and collaborating with the procurement team on stock replenishment and returns. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs. - Analyzing warehouse data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization. - Managing warehouse budgets, controlling costs, and monitoring performance against set KPIs. - Overseeing the integration and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other automation technologies to streamline operations. - Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations. - Preparing and presenting regular operational reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and challenges. - Ensuring that all warehouse processes meet industry standards for quality control and environmental safety.
