Medi Assist TPA Ltd is a third-party administrator (TPA) in India that processes health insurance claims for insurance companies, managing services like cashless claims, network hospital access, and claim settlement. As one of India's largest TPAs, it partners with both insurance companies and corporate clients to provide health benefit administration services for their employees and policyholders.
10+ years of total post-qualification experience (PQE).
Minimum 4 years of in-house legal experience at a technology, product, or insurance company is essential.
Commercial Transactions: Lead complex commercial transactions (buy-side and sell-side), including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements.
Legal Operations: Develop and implement scalable contracting frameworks, playbooks, and approval matrices.
Advisory & Risk: Provide proactive, commercially-focused legal advice and risk mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders on contracts, employment law, and regulatory compliance.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior legal professionals.
Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions.
Familiarity with the Insurance industry legal and regulatory landscape
