Senior Manager - Legal Litigation

Role Overview: As a Litigation Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing in-house Litigation matters on a Pan India basis for the entire One97 group. Your role will involve Litigation Management and Control, drafting legal documents, handling court appearances, managing external counsel, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and conducting legal research. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and developing litigation strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Litigation Management and Control. - Drafting legal notices, written statements, replies, representations, presentations, and providing legal advice. - Handling Police complaints/notices/letters, Court appearances on behalf of the Company. - Managing external counsel, Risk management, Coordinating with various authorities. - Coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory norms. - Legal research and miscellaneous legal work including drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other court documents, developing litigation strategies, managing case files, and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications Required: - 10-12 years of work experience in handling litigation matters. - Minimum 4-5 years of experience working in-house in litigation. - Experience in specific areas of litigation (e.g., commercial, employment, intellectual property). - Familiarity with court procedures and rules. - Good interpersonal skills for effective communication and coordination of complex issues. - Attention to detail, ability to work independently and efficiently, and sound knowledge of the litigation process. - Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, as well as strong trial experience.
