SENIOR MANAGER, GLOBAL LABELING OPERATIONS

As the Manager of Global Labeling Operations at Abbott Nutrition, your role is crucial in demonstrating stewardship and leadership in the application of QA policies and procedures for product labels. You will oversee a team responsible for executing change management for new product labeling and revisions to existing labels across Abbott owned and contracted facilities in the Commercial Region. Your responsibilities include championing the labeling process, ensuring accuracy and compliance while meeting business expectations, and collaborating with various departments to drive improvements in processes, tools, and standards. Additionally, you will develop effective communication systems to align personnel efforts and external partners to achieve strategic objectives. Your key responsibilities will include: - Directly managing a team of professional label specialists, providing coaching, mentoring, and oversight to build organizational capabilities. - Working with Quality personnel to support product launches by defining labeling projects in coordination with key stakeholders. - Implementing improvements to Quality Systems and tools by identifying weaknesses and selecting new tools based on research. - Ensuring sustaining support of Quality System and regulatory compliance by individually addressing issues and delegating project work. - Setting expectations and managing key suppliers and vendors related to labeling development. - Identifying cost and process improvement programs for label control activities and supporting their delivery. - Promoting group goals by selecting, motivating, and training staff, providing leadership, and identifying interests specific to the region as necessary. - Developing new work processes, improving resource utilization, involving others in continuous improvement, and solving problems impacting work processes and personnel.
