Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Manage end-to-end
statutory compliance
for both Direct and Indirect Taxation.
Oversee
GST compliance
across all states including registration, monthly/annual return filings, and ITC reconciliation.
Handle
TDS compliance
, including deduction, deposit, reconciliation, and filing of returns.
Manage
advance tax computation
, income tax return filing, and coordination for
tax audits
.
Ensure compliance with
Section 194R
and other relevant statutory provisions.
Liaise with
consultants, auditors, and tax authorities
for assessments, clarifications, and audit queries.
Prepare and present
monthly/quarterly compliance reports
and dashboards for management.
Ensure timely reconciliation and reporting of all tax-related entries in
SAP
.
Maintain proper
statutory documentation, registers, and audit support files
.
Coordinate with
Finance, HR, Legal, and Operations teams
for alignment on compliance and reporting requirements.
Drive
process improvements
and internal control measures to strengthen statutory governance.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience:
8 to 12 years in
Direct & Indirect Taxation and Statutory Compliance
within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in
SAP
and
MS Excel
; sound understanding of
GST, Income Tax, and TDS
laws.
Core Competencies:
Analytical mindset, accuracy in reporting, strong audit handling skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management
