Senior Manager facilities-Soft & EHS Knowledge

Role Overview: As a CBRE Facilities Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for managing various functions related to building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. This role falls under the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on supporting Property Managers in repairs and investment plans for a set of assets. Key Responsibilities: - Provide formal supervision to employees, including tracking training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing recruiting and hiring. - Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and mentor as needed. - Manage facility repairs and maintenance by collaborating with technicians, vendors, and contractors. - Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues, and prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. - Perform facility inspections for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and suggest operational efficiencies and upgrades. - Develop environmental health and safety procedures, cultivate vendor relationships, oversee invoicing procedures, and review/approve purchase orders. - Apply broad business knowledge, understand discipline integration, lead by example following CBRE RISE values, influence others, and identify/solve technical and operational problems. - Improve methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education considered. - Valid driver's license required; Facility Management certification preferred. - Experience in staffing, training, coaching, measuring performance, and retention preferred. - Strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, organizational skills, and an advanced inquisitive mindset. - Intermediate math skills for calculating figures like percentages, fractions, and financial-related calculations.
