Senior Manager - Content Marketing

Job description We are seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our dynamic content marketing team at Poonawalla Fincorp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing compelling content marketing activities that drive organic traffic, increase the engagement on our website and optimize our digital presence with high quality content. Here are the details: Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies to support business objectives, including lead generation, customer acquisition, brand positioning, and thought leadership. Work with a team of content creators, editors, and designers to produce high-quality, engaging content across various channels, including the company website, blog, app, email newsletters, and external publications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and compliance, to ensure alignment of content efforts with overall business goals and regulatory requirements. Identify content opportunities, audience insights, and industry trends by conducting market research and competitor analysis on a regular basis. Create and maintain an editorial calendar to plan and coordinate content production, including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, case studies, whitepapers, and other formats, ensuring consistency, relevance, and adherence to brand guidelines. Work with the SEO team and optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility, organic traffic, and lead generation. Analyse content performance using the awareness and engagement based key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven insights to refine content strategies, identify areas for optimization, and drive continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in content marketing, lending, and financial services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Min. 5 years of experience in content marketing or related roles, preferably in the lending or financial services industry. Proven track record of developing and executing successful content marketing campaigns that drive measurable results. Strong leadership and agency management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and communicate complex ideas effectively. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, analytics platforms, and project management tools. Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, analytical skills, and a passion for storytelling. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
