Mandatory Qualification: B.E / B. Tech / Diploma Engg

Support BD teams on project execution planning and contracting ensuring technically and commercially feasible bids are selected for construction

Collaborate with BD and Construction team to develop overall schedule and plan for project execution
Conduct initial meetings with contractor to decide statutory requirements and define protocols and formats for communication

Oversee construction for any new project of Apraava Energy ensuring construction as per agreed design, specifications, and timelines

Identify resource requirement as per staffing plan and communicate to reporting manager
Coordinate with contractor to prepare project execution scope with target schedule and control details
Maintain strong relationship with the contractor and conduct periodic meetings to review construction progress; Highlight any deviations from project plan and jointly resolve with the contractor
Prioritize project activities based on their criticality; Mobilize resources for these activities and update project plan accordingly
Monitor the entire construction process and ensure compliance to agreed design, specification, quality, timelines and budget; Present regular updates to management regarding timelines and cost-to-completion periodically
Maintain strong relationship with local administration and authorities and support contractors in resolution of issues

Drive HSSE management in new projects construction to ensure zero LTIs across Apraava Energy during construction phase

Develop standards, policies and procedures for HSSE management at construction sites in collaboration with the contractor ensuring a LTI free performance (zero Health & Environment incidents) across Apraava Energy; Conduct periodic reviews and accordingly update the policies and standards
Design and conduct HSSE induction & training on HSSE initiatives and protocols for all workforce (including contractor s contract workforce)
Ensure compliance of all construction activities to various environmental norms and regulations such as waste management; Conduct training for workforce on these norms and regulations
Regularly conduct audits to ensure compliance to HSSE and environmental policies for each contractor; Identify cases of non-compliance and highlight the same to concerned contractor

Steer all activities leading to commissioning of new project and successfully hand-over the project to asset teams

Decide on the commissioning plan, detailed schedule and list of deliverables on commissioning in conjunction with the contractor
Review commissioning progress and ensure compliance to agreed commissioning plan and schedule
Sign-off on the completed commissioning plan and hand-over the project to asset management teams

Oversee project management governance and ensure all requirements of Project Management Governance System (PMGS) are fulfilled during the project

Ensure all PMGS requirements related to Gates, Check Points and Milestones are followed at each stage of the project from conceptualization to commissioning

Develop a workforce which is capable, motivated and sensitive to Apraava Energy s culture

Map team s competencies to role requirements to map right people with right jobs
Set KRAs and KPIs for direct reports; Review and finalize goals set by them for the team
Create the right atmosphere for the team by providing continuous feedback, support and guidance basis their performance and set goals
Take responsibility to ensure that the team imbibes the committed organization values and culture
