Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant on the Lean Design team, you will collaborate with the business to identify opportunities and design processes to enhance the maturity of the business-operating model. Your role will involve maximizing the return on digital/automation investments and enhancing the overall system performance. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Design Thinking skills to conduct research sessions with clients, aiming to understand their experiences, unmet needs, desires, and moments of truth. - Apply systems thinking skills to analyze opportunities within the current operating model. Use LEAN and hypothesis-based Six Sigma problem-solving techniques to identify the root cause of inefficiencies and issues. - Assist in developing a digital transformation target operating model, providing recommendations on automation, workflows, web applications, data science, and employee training to enhance the client experience. - Lead design sessions and test proposed solutions through experiments, ensuring that only the most effective ideas are passed on to development and deployment teams. - Collaborate with product owners, business leaders, and technology experts to create minimal viable products (MVPs) that accelerate client improvements. Employ a solid understanding of AGILE and change management principles. - Maintain and refine the target operating model, influencing partners through change roadmaps and improvement backlogs to achieve the ultimate client experience objectives. - Support the operations team by providing Capacity Insights for FTE planning and helping them identify capacity gains achieved through target re-baselining. - Develop a roadmap for Transformation and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives in coordination with Business Heads and alignment with the Canadian Lean Design Director. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Design Thinking, systems thinking, LEAN, and Six Sigma problem-solving techniques. - Experience in developing digital transformation target operating models and implementing automation solutions. - Strong knowledge of AGILE methodologies and change management principles. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with clients, product owners, and cross-functional teams. - Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements. - Capacity planning and project management skills to drive Transformation and CI initiatives effectively.
