About the Role

We are looking for a Brand Manager/Senior Brand Manager to lead two mandates:

Brand Charter:

Creative Effectiveness

This role is best suited for someone who can balance big-picture brand thinking with hands-on execution, working cross-functionally across teams and reporting to the Sr. Director, Brand & Communications to shape how millions experience UC.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Charter

  • Lead UCs brand charter on mental load and dignity of labour, setting the cultural agenda and shaping narratives that deepen consumer trust and love for the brand.
  • Translate cultural and consumer insights into sharp positioning and storytelling
  • Develop messaging frameworks that translate brand and cultural narratives into sharp, category consideration driving positioning planks
  • Translate consumer insights into services & consumer journeys that build trust and affinity. Partner with creative agencies, internal teams and creators to deliver campaigns & conversations that are authentic, real, and rooted in consumer truths.

Creative effectiveness for performance marketing

  • Bridge the gap between the top-of-funnel brand idea/insight/storytelling and bottom-of-funnel performance assets, creating a seamless and consumer-rooted engine instead of churn-driven content.
  • Partner with performance marketing and media teams to optimize messaging and formats, ensuring all campaigns are both brand-coherent and business-effective.
  • Ensure the right persona message service creative format combinations drive higher CTRs, conversions and new user growth, efficiently and consistently.
  • Champion experimentation in narratives, formats, and creator-led executions to stay ahead of platform trends.
  • Build a structured framework to test, evaluate, and scale creative effectiveness across performance channels.
  • Develop toolkits and playbooks that make UCs messaging distinctive, consistent, and scalable across channels.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience: 4-8 years in brand/consumer marketing and creative strategy (agency + client-side mix preferred).
  • Consumer-first: Strong grounding in consumer insighting, positioning development, and turning insights into sharp creative platforms and assets.
  • Creative judgment: A sharp eye for creative work that feels authentic, breakthrough, and insight-led.
  • Analytical rigour: Comfort with numbers, ability to build/dissect media plans, budgets, and performance data to drive objective, better decision-making.
  • Ecosystem fluency: Understanding of creators, cultural trends, and platform dynamics.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with performance, brand, design, business and product teams.
  • Mindset: Curious, experimental, with the ability to toggle between strategy and execution, blue sky brand thinking and brass-tacks performance assets.
