Global Business Services Global Business Services provides Technology and Operations support to Bank of America's Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions through a globally integrated delivery model and resilient operations. Process Overview The Data Infrastructure & Strategic Initiatives team focuses on automating testing processes, ensuring data quality, conducting independent tests on corporate and business processes, and regulatory controls. This team facilitates access to the necessary data and platforms for executing a range of tests. A test, as defined in the Independent Testing Enterprise Policy, involves an independent examination of processes, controls, policies, procedures, or data sources to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management. The focus is on achieving specific objectives with predefined pass/fail criteria. Please note that this role does not involve application/software testing or development. Job Description The Test Automation team is responsible for automating tests within the EIT inventory using Python/SQL or other ETL tools. The role entails collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify automation candidates, develop logic in Python/ETL tools, and ensure data accuracy for testing purposes. Responsibilities - Identify candidates for automation and assess their suitability. - Conduct collaborative sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and walkthrough potential automation candidates. - Identify key databases and fields used in the process. - Collaborate with data subject matter experts and application owners to map databases and extract relevant data. - Extract data using SQL queries and build logic in Python/Trifacta for testing. - Ensure quality development and seek validation from stakeholders. Requirements - Education: Graduates or Post-Graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, B.Tech/B.E., or M.C.A. - Experience Range: 12-15 years. - Foundational skills in Python/SQL programming, data analysis, and problem-solving. - Proficiency in MS-Excel, PowerPoint presentations, and strong analytical skills. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to changing work schedules. - Ability to work collaboratively, across borders, and effectively execute business goals. Desired skills - Experience in Operational Risk, Audit, or Compliance domain. - Exposure to Trifacta platform, working knowledge of JIRA, and automation proficiency.
