As a Senior Manager/ AGM Solar Module at Sunsure Energy, you will play a crucial role in implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy for Solar Photo Voltaic Modules in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing Contract Strategy and Planning: - Implementing a procurement strategy for Solar PV Modules. - Managing Cost Estimate: - Determining cost estimate targets during the design and development process. - Reviewing and understanding Wafer, cell & BOS of Photo Voltaic Modules. - Re-aligning cost estimates to benchmarking targets through value engineering. - Supplier Selection and Evaluation: - Identifying potential suppliers in the PV Module segment. - Conducting market research and analysis to evaluate suppliers. - Negotiating favorable terms and conditions for cost savings and risk mitigation. - Market Research and Trend Update: - Monitoring and analyzing market trends and supplier performance. - Staying updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies. - Contract Negotiation and Management: - Leading contract negotiations with suppliers. - Drafting, reviewing, and executing service contracts. - Monitoring supplier performance and implementing corrective actions. - Cost Optimization: - Implementing cost-saving initiatives through benchmarking and cost analysis. - Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. - Risk Management: - Assessing and mitigating risks associated with contracts. - Developing contingency plans for potential disruptions. - Compliance and Reporting: - Ensuring procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulations. - Preparing and presenting regular reports on procurement performance. - Supplier Relationship Management: - Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers. - Conducting regular supplier performance reviews for continuous improvement. Non-Negotiable Skills And Abilities: - Subject Matter Expertise in procurement best practices. - Leadership skills in managing vendors and contractors. - Proficiency in SAP (MM) Module and MS Office. - Presentable personality with high integrity, professionalism, and impressive communication and negotiation skills. Education And Experience Required: - 10+ years of experience in the relevant field with renewable energy companies. - B.Tech qualification.
