Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Qualys as a Senior Manager of Accounting, where your primary responsibility will be to ensure the integrity and accuracy of accounting records, compliance with accounting standards, and provide leadership in financial reporting and external audits. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: - Own the review of various accounting areas such as bank reconciliations, month-end accruals, prepaid expenses, lease accounting, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany accounting in accordance with US GAAP. - Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and review of accounting close packs. - Ensure accurate reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and financial reviews. - Coordinate with headquarters on intercompany services agreements and support external audits. - Maintain and enhance internal control frameworks in compliance with SOX. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams like AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal to improve operational processes and provide accounting guidance for business initiatives. Qualification Required: - Education & Certification: Chartered Accountant/CPA qualification is required. - Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role, experience with US headquartered companies preferred, Big 4 or equivalent industry experience is a plus. - Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, advanced Excel proficiency, experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), excellent written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.,
