For one of our Client in the Insurance Segment, we are searching for a Senior Mainframe Developer.
Essential Job Functions:
Design and Development
Mainframe batch support
Resource should be comfortable with On-Call Support and Week-End
Release support.
Incident & Outage management
Develop code for Reporting, Defect & Enhancement
Hands on experience with JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and mainframe utilities are mandatory.
Drive the Kanban, Daily Standup, co-ordination meetings with respective stakeholders.
Analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills
Must have
Strong Mainframe skills with minimum 8-10 years of experience in
Must have hands on exp: enterprise level application design and development.
Resources with developer, administrator or support experience in Mobius or CMOD, primarily with a mainframe background. Skill type 1
CMOD Must have: Cobol development JCL MVS utilities such as sort, iebgener, iebcopy etc TSO IOF or similar products such as SDF Db2/SQL Spufi or qmf Some experience: CMOD development/administration

CMOD utilities such as arsdoc, arsload and arsadmin Shell scripting OMVS/USS/ISH Unix on the mainfame Db2/vsam utilities such as adtools/file aid Mainframe job scheduling packages Must have basic knowledge of OAM Nice to have: Mobius REXX SAS Java C Skill 2
Mobius Must have: JCL MVS utilities such as SORT, IDCAMS,IEBGENER,IEBCOPY etc TSO/ISPF IOF or similar products such as SDF COBOL development DB2/SQL SPUFI or QMF Some experience: Mobius development/administration
Mobius object types
Mobius utilities such as ARCHMIGR, TOPMAINT, DBMAINT, AND VDRCOMMD Db2/vsam utilities such as adtools/file aid Mainframe job scheduling packages Good to have: REXX SAS
Nice to have
Insurance domain experience.
