Title: Senior Microsoft 365 Administrator

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 Tenant Administrator with little Azure expertise to manage and optimize our Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on end-to-end tenant administration and tenant-to-tenant migrations, ensuring security, complaint, and seamless collaboration experience across the organization. Azure administration knowledge is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Administration

• Manage and maintain core M365 services — Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Security & Compliance Center.
• Implement and monitor governance, security, and compliance policies to ensure regulatory adherence and data protection.
• Oversee system health, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for M365 workloads.

Tenant Migrations

• Plan and lead Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations with minimal user disruption.
• Perform pre-migration assessments, execute detailed migration plans, and validate post-migration performance.
• Manage mail flow, identity synchronization, and ensure data integrity during migration projects.
• Experience in Merger and Acquisition is an advantage

Azure & Identity Management

• Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for identity and access management.
• Configure and manage Conditional Access, MFA, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
• Support hybrid identity solutions including Azure AD Connect and ADFS.

Device & Security Management

• Administer Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and endpoint protection.
• Enforce security baselines and compliance policies across devices and applications.

Automation & Optimization

• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and reporting.
• Monitor and optimize licensing utilization, cost management, and resource allocation across M365 and Azure environments.

Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide Tier-3 support and advanced troubleshooting for M365 and Azure-related issues.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex incidents and collaborate with Microsoft Support when necessary.

• 7–11 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration and tenant migrations (M365-to-M365, Google Workspace-to-M365, On-prem-to-Cloud, etc.).
• In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory, identity management, and security best practices.
• Proven experience with Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and reporting.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications & Skills

• Microsoft Certified: MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator) — required.
• Experience managing hybrid environments and complex migration scenarios.
• Azure Administration knowledge or certification (e.g., AZ-104) will be highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure CLI and automation/orchestration tools.
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.) is a plus.
