About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Long-Form Video Editor with a deep sense of storytelling, pacing, and cinematic flow. You’ll craft brand films, interviews, case studies, and documentaries that capture real emotion and authenticity.

You’ll also work on short-form content derived from long-form projects applying the same storytelling quality to shorter edits. This role demands both creative mastery and technical precision.

What You’ll Do

🎬 Edit long-format videos (brand films, founder stories, documentaries).

✂️ Create short-form edits that retain the depth and polish of long-form storytelling.

🎥 Collaborate with cinematographers to maintain visual continuity.

🎧 Manage audio, background scoring, and sound mixing for professional delivery.

🎨 Lead the colour grading process to establish tone and emotional weight.

🧠 Learn and apply short-form best practices hooks, retention pacing, and storytelling compression.

⚙️ Manage and organise footage for smooth post-production workflows.

Skills & Requirements

4–6 years of professional video editing experience (preferably in branded or documentary-style work).

Advanced knowledge of DaVinci Resolve(preferred)/ Adobe Premiere Pro.

Strong grasp of story arcs, dialogue pacing, and visual emotion.

Experience with color correction, transitions, and storytelling composition.

Exposure to short-form content adaptation is a plus.

Ability to take creative ownership from raw cut to final master.

Test Assignment (Mandatory)

You’ll be given a short-form adaptation test based on long-form content.

Your task:

Edit a short clip (15–30 seconds) maintaining long-form quality and cinematic style.

Focus on flow, pacing, and retention.

Demonstrate mastery in lighting, tone, and transitions.
