Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be crucial in managing and optimizing the data infrastructure required to support our cutting-edge applications. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure our data architecture aligns with the company's goals and supports the needs of our applications. Key Responsibilities Design and implement data pipelines to collect, process, and store large datasets. Develop and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Optimize and maintain data architecture, ensuring data quality, integrity, and availability. Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliable operation. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering. Qualifications Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake). Strong experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache NiFi, Airflow, Talend). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data services. Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka). Strong understanding of data modeling and database design. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
