Reports To:

Legal Drafting & Documentation :

  • Draft and vet agreements such as Agreement for Sale, Development Agreement, Conveyance Deed, Lease Deed, Re-development Agreement, JV Agreement, Power of Attorney ect.
  • Prepare and issue legal notices, statutory notices, and replies.
  • Review and finalize finance agreements, hypothecation deeds, mortgage documents, MOUs, NDAs, and declarations.
  • Conduct title search and vet property documents with valuation reports.

Real Estate & RERA Compliance :

  • Handle RERA registration, quarterly filings, and ongoing compliance.
  • Represent the company before RERA and Conciliation Forums.
  • Manage appellate RERA matters and ensure compliance with RERA 2016 guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit project extension applications and compliance frameworks.

Litigation & Representation

  • Represent the company before M.M. Courts, Session Courts, City Civil Courts, High Courts, DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal), DRAT (Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal), and RERA authorities.
  • Manage criminal, civil, family, NI Act, and real estate-related cases. • Manage Company related cases.
  • Draft written statements, affidavits, replies, and consent terms.
  • Brief and coordinate with Senior Advocates, Counsels, and Law Firms for litigation and NCLT matters.

Property due Diligence & Registration:

  • Conduct due diligence for properties.
  • Handle conveyance, deemed conveyance, and society coordination.
  • Liaise with Project Management Consultants, Societies, and Authorities for redevelopment and documentation.

Corporate & Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance.
  • Prepare MIS reports and monitor internal audits.
  • Coordinate with lenders, borrowers, and internal teams on credit facility documentation.
  • Attend consortium meetings and execute security documents with trustees.

Coordination & Advisory:

  • Collaborate and coordinate with law firms, if and when required.
  • Advise management on legal implications of business decisions.
  • Handle legal correspondence with authorities like SEZ, clients, members etc.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Expertise in Real Estate Laws, RERA 2016, Civil & Criminal Procedures, and Corporate Laws.
  • Strong drafting, vetting, and negotiation abilities.
  • Sound understanding of property due diligence and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal research platforms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: LLB / LLM
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Real Estate, Infrastructure.

  • Ability to handle pressure and multiple projects efficiently.
